Local accommodation
We suggest that people do not drive for more than an hour before and after the walk, the following are places that our walkers have used many times and we are happy to recommend them.
Osmotherley for E-W crossings
The Queen Catherine and Three tuns, lots of people stay here and it’s a great breakfast.
Cote Ghyll Caravan and camping park, also a popular alternative.
Ravenscar for W-E crossings
Grouse Hill `caravan and camping park www.grousehill.co.uk
We can not recommend Grouse Hill enough, they have glamping pods and space for camper vans and touring caravans. Andrew and Caroline will give you an exceptionally warm welcome, their lovely site is the base for our 50 mile challenge walk in 2027 and has a pub very close by.
